Eat to ride, or ride to eat? Pretty basic question, yes, but an appropriate one depending on your goals as a mountain biker. There are a lot of aspects that intertwine the concepts surrounding mountain biking and nutrition. How do I eat based on my goals, and can I eat too much or little if I ride all the time? Is there a “best” diet, or is a calorie a calorie? What about all these trends… what can I trust?
